Crew member on GBR1424R Heartbeat IV

Just running down to Redonda before the turn onto the final beat of this testing race. Steady 20 knots still - flat seas - bright sun. Blew the halyard halfway down but retrieved assy rapidly - difficulty in re-setting. Trustmarque Quokka to windward. The next and final leg is ~ 36 miles upwind - finishing at Fort Charlotte. Paul just preparing a late lunch - my order - fresh pasta with ham and cheese. Forgot to mention that in the Chinese gybe Jude was trimming and went straight through the guard rails - held onto the sheet and was rescued by Dani and Nic. Just now approaching Coral Bank. Plan to Tweet from finish line around 2300h (though that may be optimistic!). Pics show more of today.
