Day 3 of the 2015 Caribbean 600 and after a wet and blustery night we have

rounded the Barbuda buoy for the second time and are on our way to 'the

Kingdom of Redonda'.

More on-going repairs to the mainsail tack to try to hold it together as we

speak and a sense of frustration at the wind angle as it doesn't look like

we can hold a kite at the moment and we have dropped back to 3rd on

corrected time. Still pushing as hard as we and a very tired crew can!

Our Guadeloupe plans went well, we encountered the wind hole a little sooner

than expected and so where around 1/2 mile away from where I wanted to be

but we didn't suffer too much. However it looked like the wind filled in

behind us so the chasing boats got a bit of a bonus.

Breakages (so far) not too bad; Declan was trapped in the head for a while

after Christina fell against the door and smashed it inwards, we had to

remove the frame to get him out! Not pleasant for him or in fact me; the

owner and writer f the sacred cheques!!

Back on deck now for more procrastination about a kite hoist....bring it on!
