Crew member on NED001 Windrose of Amsterdam

Windrose used 155 tons to glide effortlessly through the Lee of

Guardeloupe at 02.45 local time. As expected a westerly wind filled in the

Lee of the high mountains. The No 1 watch crew were like coiled springs

trimming to every puff in order to keep the old ship moving. BTW I

succumbed to having a shower. The first time ever in an offshore race -

bliss. Isle de Saints next stop. Over but not out.
