CLASSES

IRC, CSA, Two-Handed, Class 40, Multihulls - see General Conditions Appendix I and II. Note: There is no maximum length of boat for this race

STABILITY:

SSS MINIMUM BASE VALUE: 15 or STIX MINIMUM: 23 and AVS MINIMUM: 130-0.005 x m (where m is the minimum sailing weight in kg)

Boats with a series date of 2000 and later will be categorised under STIX and AVS only.

Boats with a series date before 2000 may be categorised under either STIX and AVS or SSS.

SPECIAL REGULATIONS:

Offshore Special Regulations Category 3 with RORC prescriptions plus Category 2 Liferaft and EPIRB.

TRACKING:

It will be mandatory for all yachts to carry, and keep switched on while competing in the RORC Caribbean 600 Race, an OCTracker unit. The units are standalone and will be supplied by the RORC. The cost is inclusive of the entry fee. A deposit, which may be set against a credit card, will be required. Full details will be issued to entrants separately.

ATTENDANCE:

All boats are required to be berthed in English or Falmouth Harbours from 1200 on 19th February 2010. Any boat that anticipates a problem being able to comply with this instruction will need to contact the Race Committee.

BERTHING:

Berthing fees are not inclusive of the entry fee.

York Island (P), Green Island (P), North Sails Inflatable Mark off Barbuda (P), Nevis (S), Saba (S), St Barths (P), St Maarten (S), Tintamarre (S), Guadeloupe (P), Les Saints (P), Les Desirade (P), North Sails Inflatable Mark off Barbuda (P), Redonda (P), Fort Charlotte Antigua and finish.
